In the middle of a sex tape allegation after it emerged that someone had gotten hold of footage of Iggy Azalea dancing with no pants on with an ex, the Aussie rapper took to Twitter to set the record straight, but not before Steven Hirsch, the man who allegedly saw the footage, had this to say: “I believe there would be a huge demand for her sex tape… Iggy has proved that she’s an amazing talent…We are conducting our due diligence and if we are satisfied with our review, we will definitely try to make a deal to distribute the tape.”
But according tot he Aussie rapper, that’s not her tape. “I don’t have a sex tape but for the record… Anyone who releases or attempts to make profit off someone elses intimate moments against their will is a sex offender & it honestly makes me sick to see the media encourage any other attitude towards those sorts of people, we should want to protect our women and I really hope that America will follow Europe and their laws to better to better protect people’s privacy and fundamental rights.”
And as for protecting women, make sure you purchase the Aug/Sep issue of HYPE Magazine which features Iggy on the back cover. In this issue we’re paying tribute to women in hip hop who are a rare breed that we need to definitely protect.
