The age-old beef between Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim intensified last week when Kim took multiple jabs at Nicki. First, she remixed Beyonce’s Flawless where she responds to an apparent diss from Nicki; and then a couple of days later she released a diss track aimed at the Young Money fist lady called Identity Theft.
The rivalry has set many tongues wagging with a lot of people throwing in their two cents’ worth. One of those people is T.I., who recently weighed in on this raging war between the two female rappers. Tip – who not so long ago helped quell the feud between Jeezy and Rick Ross – thinks the situation between Nicki and Kim is more “complicated” than it seems. “Just because you heard another person say that you gonna be on the edge,” he explained to Billboard. “I feel like that’s more of the case between Nicki, even though I don’t know what started any of this, it’s a little more complicated to put to bed because of that.”
T.I. also explained that he thinks that the cause of that beef is that Nicki is always compared to her rival Kim, saying, “It’s gonna put a chip on your shoulder in a different way too.”
We wonder how this is all gonna end and if Nicki will make a comeback with even more scathing shots.
