American jazz-funk, soul-jazz saxophonist Grover Washington Jr died of a heart attack aged 56, after releasing 20 solo albums. 



Eminem was the subject of a sick Internet hoax when MTV reported that the he’d been killed in a car crash on his way to a party.



Adele was named Billboard’s top artist of 2012, while her album 21 was named top album of the year. She became the first person to receive both accolades two years in a row.
