Drake’s future tour on shaky ground?

drakeAccording to reports, Drake has kicked Future off his ‘Would You Like A Tour’ tour, and Future is not taking it lying down: he may be suing the “Started From the Bottom” rapper for a sum of $1.5 million.

This comes just days after the controversial comments made by Future about Drake’s ‘Nothing Was The Same’ album.

“Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love”, Future said in an interview with Billboard.

The quote was made during the listening session of the ‘Pluto’ rapper’s forthcoming album, ‘Honest’. Despite Future’s claims that he was misquoted, it seems Drake was not amused at all by his remarks. He told his agent to fire Future or he would fire him himself. Both camps then got together to see how they could move forward amicably, but in the end Future’s team left on their own after refusing Drake’s request for financial compensation.

Future was set to pocket $40, 000 per show had he not offended the OVO boss. Although he was replaced by Jhene Aiko who also appears on the Canadian rapper’s album, there are rumors circulating that Future may come back on the bill to set it off on tour with Drizzy.

Drake’s ‘Would You Like A Tour’ tour was scheduled to start on 8 October.
