Roc Nation signee and man of the hour, J.Cole, who’s currently on ‘What Dreams May Come’ tour with Wale, has just debuted the short film for his self-produced single “Crooked Smile” that features TLC which is topping the charts. The short film is dedicated to Aiyana Stanley-Jones, the young girl who was sadly killed in her home in Detroit during police a raid in 2010. The film, directed by Sheldon Candis, examines the danger of the war on drugs in communities across the nation with vivid imagery and storytelling. Cole worked closely on all creative aspects of the video with Candis, a rising director who made his feature directorial debut with the critically acclaimed independent film “Luv” starring Common, Danny Glover and Meagan Good.

The charitable partner for What Dreams May Come Tour is J.Cole’s Dreamville Foundation, with a portion from every concert ticket sold going this charity. Its mission is to reveal to youth their limitless potential through life-altering experiences. Since its inception, the organization has been dedicated to uplifting youth in Fayetteville through book clubs, essay contests and community events.
