STR.SESSIONS: a new wave of creative sessions for young people

Live Magazine SA and British Council Connect ZA have joined forces with annual urban youth culture festival STR.CRD to present STR.SESSIONS, free creative sessions for young people featuring international and local speakers. STR.SESSIONS is hosted by Flux Trends. The annual STR.CRD attracts some of the world’s top design, fashion, music and street culture audience and this year is no different. The speaker line-up has a strong emphasis on collaboration and using the streets as a foundation of creativity to inspire what you do – whether it be fashion, photography or music.

The free STR.SESSIONS’ will take place on Saturday 28 September. There are 25 places for each STR.SESSION and you must register at http://livemag.co.za/str-sessions/ with your Name, Surname, Cell Number and ID number.  It will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. You will receive a text message from STR.CRD which you must bring, with your ID, to gain entry to your selected session.

Grace Ladoja is a 25 year old film director, born and bred in London. Her work focuses primarily on the documentation of city cultures and subcultures – her first film ‘London to Paris’ documented the journey of ten riders from around the world as they made the cross-channel track bike journey to meet Lance Armstrong at the close of the Tour De France in 2009.
