He’s reported to have inked a deal with Cash Money Records which is home to Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga and others. The Texas born singer made his mark through YouTube videos, which landed him a deal with Universal Republic. Last week Cash Money head Birdman as well as DJ Khaled confirmed some form of partnership with Mahone’s Chase Records. If the reports are true, the 17 year old will rake in some serious cheddar, having just come off Taylor Swift’s RED tour and recently scooping a VMA.
