The time has finally arrived for the much anticipated South African first – Extra Cold Live brought to you exclusively by Castle Lite. In case you’ve been living in the abyss of Miguel’s nut sack , since the 7th of May tickets have been available for sale for this one-of-its-kind campaign set to get Mzansi into a frenzy.
What’s cool about this particular concert is that fans from Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg were given the power to create their own concert line-up of 7 acts selected from 25 local artists ranging from house, hip hop, jazz and also DJ fraternities to represent their cities. The self-appointed ‘mayors’ for the Capitals of Cold concerts were funny man Loyiso Gola, other funny (and slightly psychotic) man, Trevor Gumbi and the rose amongst the thorns – Poppy Ntshongwana. These three battled it out and led the voting process with their fans to get us to the final results below.
