Cape Town, get ready for some music porn coming at you every last Friday of the month from the 29th of March 2013. “Boogie Boutique” is a series of events taking place at the District 6 Museum, Homecoming Centre in Cape Town. The events are set to come alive with each time with a headliner as well as monster DJ lineups that already include Ruthy Pearl, White Nite, Cudi and P-Kuttah.
Not only is Boogie Boutique an awesome musical experience, the event also houses an art gallery. Each event will begin with a two-hour exhibition, which will feature both performance and visual art from various local and international artists who will be revealed at the beginning of each month that the event will take place.
The launch of the event will see none other than Motif Record’s first lady, the talented musician and songwriter, Zaki Ibrahim, setting the stage ablaze. Zaki will be performing a full set accompanied by a live band on the night (we know, we also just jazzed in our pants).
Tickets for the first edition of Boogie Boutique are available at Computicket for R60 and will be available at the door for R80.
