The annual ISC (International Songwriting Competition), now open to both amateur and professional songwriters, offers 22 categories to enter, representing all genres of popular music, from Rock to Jazz to Blues to Hip-Hop, and more. ISC boasts some impressive past winners who went onto win Grammys and sell multi-platinum albums amongst other accolades. Winners have included Gotye, Kimbra, The Band Perry and many more.
The winner of this year’s competition will walk away with more than $25 000 in prize money and $30 000 worth of prizes.In South African terms the winner will, in total, win R308 642 in prize money and R370 370 in prizes.
