On the 17th of August a Women In Hip Hop Conference will take in Bassline, Newtown in conjunction with a Women’s Month Celebration Concert taking place later in the evening.
The concert will feature Rapsody, Miss Nthabi, Vardz, 9th Wonder and Act Proof. The conference is proudly bought to you by UPE (Urban Phenomenon Entertainment) and Black Drop Entertainment.
The aim of the conference is to educate and provide knowledge about the music industry to upcoming female artists, producers and other role players in the music industry.
The panel of the conference is made up of Lee Kasumba, Rapsody, Miss Nthabi, Supa and Nothende. The conference will be hosted by Tsholo Maseko (Ses’khona) and Ndimakazi “Phoenix” Mabala (HYPE Magazine).
The public is also invited to the conference and can attempt to secure places by registering at www.soulecho.co.za . Registration closes on the 4th of August and successful registrants will be announced by the 11th of August.
