We all know around this time of the year, various radio stations get makeovers and revamp their line-ups right? Well Joburg’s leading Youth station YFM 99.2 has introduced the #YTKO theme which has had other radio stations shaking in their boots.
The Dj line-up has since introduced new faces to the YFM family. Dj ZanD, Shimza, Ms Cosmo and Musa of YoTv have joined the Yona Ke Yona crew.
Monday to Friday at 18:00pm, YFM now has Djs (Just Mo, Josi Chave, ZanD, Shimza and Ms Cosmo) playing a LIVE set to listeners, giving radio stations such 5fm (ultimix at 6) competition, as their sets are pre recorded. This is ground-breaking radio if you ask me!
Our favourites such as Bonang, Mo Flava, Siz n Scoop, Tholi B, Zama Dube and Da Twinz still remain on the line-up, while newbies such as Thando Thabethe and Dj Sabby now have their own shows.
Since its birth, YFM has always done things differently; the Y brand is powerful, urban, fresh, hip and ofcourse…99.2 Sexy!
