Syrys returns with “True Love Story III,” the latest installment in his emotionally evolving True Love Story series — a project that reflects two years of careful songwriting, vulnerability, and artistic growth. Released on 23 January, “True Love Story III” represents the most intentional and personal chapter in the series so far. The project explores themes of love, heartbreak, emotional reflection, and growth, blending melodic hip hop with deeply introspective storytelling. The making of TLS III was a long and deliberate process. Speaking about the project, Syrys shared: “Making TLS III was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I spent at least two years sitting down and crafting each song day by day, making sure every story felt relatable — especially for my fans. TLS III is an emotional and personal journey I decided to take. Some of the songs are told in third person, inspired by experiences I went through. The main goal was to create a masterpiece — something my fans would truly love. And it all had to start with me. No matter what anyone says, I believe this is the best project in the TLS series. I put my all into it.” The result is a cohesive body of work that feels intentional rather than rushed. Each track contributes to a broader narrative arc, reinforcing the True Love Story series as chapters in an ongoing emotional journey. As an independent South African hip hop artist, Syrys continues to prioritize authenticity over trends. Instead of chasing viral moments, “True Love Story III” focuses on emotional honesty and storytelling, allowing listeners to see themselves within the music. “True Love Story III” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
