Clington Mashego aka Prime De 1st has risen to become one of the biggest amapiano stars in South Africa. From collaborating with local acts like BL Zero, Lebzito & Kamo the vocalist to hitting the stage in Botswana, Tanzania and many more to come, the 26-year-old musician has cemented himself as one of the top act in Africa.

Before dabbling in amapiano, Prime De 1st was a singer who was influenced by late, Michael Jackson. Some of his stand-out song included, 012 Lifestyle which was released in 2021.
Prime De 1st’s amapiano journey began in 2021 after the release of Trigger which he was feautured by DJ Karri, BL Zero & Lebzito.
Since then, Prime De 1st went viral with DJ Karri on internet and people created a dance challenge to the song which had DJ Maphorisa, Bontle Modiselle, Kamo Mphela, MajorLeagueDJz, Uncle Waffles and many more SA Celebrities dancing to it.
