The Indie Record Label “Lemon Music ZA” is the first record label in Cape Town, South Africa to focus on the downtempo music sound.
The Record label was founded by Emile Ashley and Co-Found by Bjorn Martin, Who later on became the Founder and CEO of the Independent label.
Lemonade (The EP) was the first release by the record label, distributing only to YouTube and SoundCloud with marketing on Social Media. The record label caught the attention of the professional in the Industry opening doors for collaboration for the artists under the record label.
The only music producer on the label “B Major” got nominated for the producer of the year music award at the 021 city awards 2021 for his Lemonade (The EP) release on lemon Music ZA in the year 2020.
Lemon Music ZA is one year old today and has a long road ahead to go to be where all the greats are says the CEO.
