Blaq Queen SA is excited to reveal the release of her eagerly awaited Lekompo debut single, “Tshwara Fase,” set for October 6, 2025.

Mapula Mametja, known professionally as Blaq Queen SA, is an award-winning South African Lekompo singer and songwriter from Mankweng, Limpopo. She is ready to engage and energize her fans with her new single “Tshwara Fase,” featuring Wiz De Rayful, Damnson, Blame Romeo, and Arnold.

This track marks her first release after taking a year-long break from the music scene to focus on her studies. “Tshwara Fase” tells the story of a man who loves to dance and party, blending melodic street dance rhythms, soulful sounds, and smooth vocals to deliver a vibrant and urban musical experience.

Blaq Queen SA is among the select Lekompo artists in Limpopo who earned the title of “Best Lekompo Artist” at the Turfloop Arts and Music Awards in 2023. She made her mark in the music industry with the release of her debut single, “Taken,” in 2021. This track garnered significant attention, amassing over 20,000 views on YouTube in less than two months and gaining recognition in Canada, according to Spotify.

Blaq Queen’s passion for Lekompo music, also known as Limpopo Dance Music, was inspired by prominent artists such as Makhadzi, Kharishma, and Shebeshxt. Her journey began during her time at Mountain View High School, where she was a member of the school choir.

The single will be available on Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, YouTube, and other streaming platforms starting October 6, 2025.
