Código 1530 Tequila proudly announces its arrival in South Africa with the launch of Theatre – a new music and lifestyle festival series that celebrates artistry, culture, and unforgettable experiences. For its debut edition, Theatre brings global icon Lane 8 to South African stages for the very first time.
Known for his immersive This Never Happened shows and emotionally rich soundscapes, Lane 8 will headline two nights of melodic house and progressive magic – under the stars, in settings designed for connection and celebration.
And at the heart of it all is Código 1530 Tequila – Mexico’s best-kept secret, now unveiled to South African tastemakers. Crafted in small batches using centuries-old traditions, Código embodies authenticity, refinement, and timeless quality. As Theatre’s official partner, Código 1530 brings its philosophy of excellence to the forefront, creating a space where music and lifestyle meet in perfect harmony.
Joining Lane 8 are Grammy-nominated duo Sultan & Shepard, whose deep, emotive energy will set the tone for a night of sonic storytelling.
“Theatre is a passion project,” says curator Danny Figueiredo. “It’s about creating moments that linger – where music, design, and culture collide. This isn’t just another festival. It’s a boutique experience, carefully crafted. So dress up, dive in, and let every detail be part of the show.”
