Red Bull Unlocked returns to the V&A Waterfront on 26 September 2026, with a strong lineup of headliners confirmed for the one-night-only experience. Taking place at Makers Landing at the V&A Waterfront’s Cruise Terminal, the event brings together some of Cape Town’s most exciting nightlife spaces under one roof.
Since launching in Johannesburg in 2023, Red Bull Unlocked has grown venue to venue. Its Cape Town debut in 2024 brought ten venues together under one roof, while 2025 saw eleven venues join the experience. Now, in 2026, the experience returns to Makers Landing, bringing new venues from Cape Town’s nightlife scene under one roof.
The concept remains simple: one ticket unlocks every venue. Across the night, Cape Town’s bars, clubs and creative spaces will come together under one roof, each bringing its own sound, energy and atmosphere. From Amapiano and Afro House to Hip Hop, Deep House and Afro Tech, guests can move seamlessly between different nightlife experiences without having to leave or order and a ride.
This year, returning venues including Broke, Fools Gold Social Bar, Souk, Destiny and Drama will once again bring their unique energy to Red Bull Unlocked, while Texas, HALO, Beluga, Club Paradise and The Athletics Club & Social join the experience for the first time. Together, the venues will each bring their own unique take on Cape Town’s nightlife to Red Bull Unlocked.
Returning to The Hub lineup is A-Reece with 5 FM’s DJ PH, Dee Koala, Sliqe, Teddy Tumi, CA MA GU, Oscar Mbo, Jullian Gomes, Babalwa M, Chelsea Sloan, Dwson, Tristan Urwin, DJ Phil, Enrico Celento, Inkosi YaMandebele, Les-D and more.
Together the artists represent the diversity of South African music and Cape Town’s nightlife culture, spanning established names, rising talent and some of the city’s most exciting local sounds. Across the different rooms, guests can expect a night that moves effortlessly between genres, with each space offering its own take on what makes Cape Town after dark so distinctive.
