Celina Sharma Releases Highly Anticipated EP Chapter 2

International pop artist Celina Sharma today releases her highly anticipated five-track EP, Chapter 2, available now via gamma., following the strategic partnership between ERA Music and the US-based music and media company.

With more than 250 million total streams and 625,000 monthly listeners, the 24-year-old Sydney-born, London based artist enters a new era with a project that moves beyond her early pop sound, exploring faith, family, loss, identity and personal growth through a more mature, ballad-driven sound.

At the heart of Chapter 2 is “Centre of Peace” featuring legendary Indian vocalist Sonu Nigam, released on 21 August. Originally written as an English-language record exploring Sharma’s relationship with God, the song evolved into a tribute to her Indian heritage, incorporating traditional Indian instrumentation recorded in Mumbai.

The collaboration brings together Sharma’s contemporary pop sound with one of India’s most recognised voices. “Centre of Peace” is also the only featured track on the EP, making the collaboration a significant part of the project’s connection to Sharma’s roots.

Sharma’s connection to South Africa continues to grow, following her performance in Cape Town alongside Ella Mai in 2026. Her international journey has also seen her perform across Japan and the UK while building an audience across global markets.

Speaking about the project, Celina Sharma says: “Chapter 2 feels like the first time I’ve really allowed people into my world. I left home at 16 to follow this dream. There have been some amazing milestones, but also moments that challenged me in ways I never expected. This project is about all of it; growing up, finding myself and understanding that even the difficult moments shape who you are. I know myself so much better now as both a person and an artist.”

Sharma’s career began gaining major attention at 17 when she was recognised as a BBC Future Sound, becoming the youngest recipient at the time. Her 2021 collaboration “24/7” with Harris J surpassed 300 million streams and generated more than 7 billion TikTok views. She has also collaborated with artists including Rich The Kid, Stonebwoy, Ivorian Doll, Not3s and Emiway Bantai.

She has written and performed “Nach Mera Hero” for Marvel’s Eternals soundtrack and participated in the creation of Zedd’s Telos, contributing to a Grammy nomination.

With Chapter 2, Sharma brings together her multicultural identity, powerful vocals and deeply personal storytelling to present a project that reflects how far she has come and the artist she is becoming.
