Masoncarterx is a new artist that I recently came across on social media and I was impressed by his performance on the song ‘Sticks in the Back’. He has a pretty unique flow, and that differentiates him from his peers. From the way that he raps, I suspect that he punches in instead of writing a verse and recording. For those that don’t know what punching in is, it’s basically when you freestyle a verse or a song in small parts until you have a completed song. His verse sees him touch on how he rolling independent and how he doesn’t rely on anyone for his success. He also does a great job at swithcing up his cadence in the song to give the verse that extra special something. On the song, he features Sizo Williams, and his verse is the icing on the cake.
