New single arrives 21 August following her SAMA win and the chart-topping success of “Aweh”
Fresh from winning Best R&B/Soul Album at the 2026 South African Music Awards (SAMA32), lordkez returns with a new single, “4SHO,” featuring South African hip-hop heavyweight Kwesta.
The release of “4SHO” arrives at a significant moment for lordkez. Her hit single “Aweh” was the most-played song across all South African radio stations from September to December 2025 and has been officially certified Gold, with the “Aweh [Remix] featuring Cassper Nyovest reaching Double Platinum status, further cementing her position as one of the country’s most exciting contemporary R&B voices.
Now, following the success of “Aweh” and her acclaimed COLORS performance of “Wena Fela,” lordkez continues that momentum with “4SHO”, calling on Kwesta, one of South African hip-hop’s most distinctive and celebrated voices.
Built for summer, “4SHO” is rooted in what lordkez describes as “Neo Nostalgia”, her signature approach to blending the warmth and familiarity of classic R&B with contemporary African sounds and modern songwriting.
The collaboration brings together two generations of South African music: one of the continent’s fastest-rising R&B artists alongside an established African hip-hop heavyweight.

“4SHO” by lordkez featuring Kwesta will premiere on all digital platforms on 21 August 2026, followed by the official music video on 26 August 2026.
