Audiences nationwide will get to relive the electrifying energy, unforgettable performances, and powerful moments from this year’s landmark festival through a two-part television special on SABC 1.

The televised edition of Back to the City Festival 2025 captures the spirit of Mzansi’s hip-hop movement — featuring standout performances, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, artist interviews, and never-before-seen moments that defined this year’s edition. Daytime brings Newtown alive with graffiti battles, skate jams, cyphers, and street fashion then when night falls, the stage explodes with Lupe Fiasco, Cassper Nyovest, Big Zulu, Emtee, Touchline, K.Keed and more!
