Skatle & Gvnt Are Still Workaholics — WORKAHOLICS II Delivers

I’ve been tweeting for a minute about how these brothers are pushing the culture—bringing their own language, slang and energy to the game. Skatle and Gvnt, the producers behind the hard-working Qwellers crew, dropped WORKAHOLICS before and now return with WORKAHOLICS II: an 8-track project stacked with the scene’s best peers.

The EP opens with WAR READY (feat. Lowfeye) — and no surprise, Lowfeye carries the project. He’s featured on six tracks and immediately steals the show: confident, melodic and razor-sharp. The song’s theme isn’t about violence; it’s about being battle-ready for success—the kind your parents end up proud of.

“FAZE ME” brings LaCabra’s lethal pen to the table. He turns beats into classics, and his verse here is proof. “INTELEZI” follows with Kane Keid opening fire on the hook and first verse, then Usimamane gates down the track—versatile, aggressive, effortless. Lowfeye shows up again, reminding you why he’s the backbone of this tape.

“2 HUNNID FREESTYLE” flips the vibe with multiple rappers—DaHoodHope, Fanaticalb3ing, Jepedoh and Yungboyvegeta—each adding a different texture that broadens the EP’s palette. “TOP FIVE” (also a single) is another Lowfeye showcase—anthemic and replayable. Then “MA BOiii” arrives with Tony Dayimane and Lowfeye, and honestly has potential to be one of the biggest songs in the country; Tony’s hook and verse lock it in.

The closing pair, “SPECIAL” and “LASHONA”, wrap everything up neatly—features land on point and Lowfeye again ties threads together with consistent lyrical quality.

Skatle and Gvnt know story, sequence and sonic balance. The beat selection is tight, the features are placed where they matter, and the EP moves—no filler. Lowfeye emerges as the MVP: a great lyricist who also brings melodic versatility (don’t sleep on his IsiZulu bars). The project feels like a crew record done right—ambitious but disciplined.

This is a strong, well-produced body of work. Lyrics, production, sequencing and features all line up.

Don’t skip this one—listen carefully and hear what these kids are bringing to the game.
