Following the success of his acclaimed Inkanyezi Live EP, multi-award-winning artist Sjava returns with Inkanyezi 2.0 Live EP — a continuation of the story and energy that captured the hearts of his fans.
This second chapter extends the raw emotion and electrifying spirit of his live performances into five new songs, recorded during unforgettable moments on stage at the Joburg Theatre (15–16 August 2025), just three weeks before release.
If Inkanyezi was the spark, Inkanyezi 2.0 is the blaze: a deeper dive into connection, intimacy, and spirit. The voices of the audience, the band’s energy, and Sjava’s vulnerability fuse into something timeless, transforming each track into a living memory.
True to its name, Inkanyezi (“a star”), the project radiates light, strength, and hope — the same essence Sjava shares every time he connects with his audience.
The EP features the legendary Shwi, who previously collaborated with Sjava on Ithuna from his platinum-selling Isibuko. It also includes a collaboration with acclaimed producer, instrumentalist, and artist Zadok, known for his genre-defying sound and creative impact on South African music.
