I’ve said it before, and I will say it again. SA has a never-ending conveyor belt of talent when it comes to R&B acts and Chante is just the latest example of that. The rising songstress recently released a single titled ‘Apply Pressure’, and as the title of the song suggests, she does exactly that. The single carries an uptempo vibe with an infectious hook to accompany it. From a subject matter point of view, the single sees Chante detail how she knows exactly what she would like from a mutually interested lover. The single comes with a stellar feature from LIL MILE and his performance acts as the cherry on top of the cake through his distinct vocal texture. The only honest criticism I have of the song is that it has a rather short runtime when I want to listen to the song a little longer.
