E-Guup is an artist who has recently came onto my radar following a chance encounter at a music conference. Upon listening to her music, I found her to be a melodically gifted artist who has the makings of a top-tier artist. In all honesty, it’s a privilege to catch artists at the beginning of their trajectory – there is something different about it. She recently released a new single titled ‘UYANDAZI’ and it follows the same melodic ques I was alluding to earlier. The chorus is slow enough for a listener to catch the flow but also she steers clear of sounding pedestrian.
