Here we are again on New Music Friday and we have a whole host of music to talk about. UYIHLO’s latest single, ‘ZOUK’, was the first song on my Spotify feed. Naturally, I decided to tap in and I was immediately transported to a pocket of groove I hadn’t listened to in a while. It was very refreshing for me and UYIHLO sounds rooted in the nature of the production with the pair being a perfect fit for each other. The melody that UYIHLO utilised on the song felt like home in the sense that it was about the rhythm and melody of the performance.
