Light of the World is a 4-track EP ushering in all the warm, hearty, Christmassy feels that you need to feel merry! The EP begins with 1 original gospel song; followed by 2 original Christmas songs; and draws to a close with a very popular Christmas carol.
It has always been a dream of mine to create Christmas music, I have been obsessed with everything Christmas for as long as I can remember! It is a season that emanates love, excitement, and togetherness. It is a part of the year that I always look forward to, regardless of what I may be going through. My hope with this project is that it will reach those who need to hear it, I pray that it touches the hearts of those who need healing, and provides peace to the minds of those who need comforting. I am so proud to be releasing a project like this, and as a person who listens to Christmas music at the top of November, I cannot wait to bump this project all throughout the festive season!
The production behind Light of the World includes collaborators from far and wide, 1/2 of TYCHE– Saydi Driggers (singer & songwriter) based in Los Angeles; Jarod “smallsteps” Azoor (producer & songwriter) based in Australia; as well as accomplished producers Neo Ndawo & Masuda, who are no strangers to the South African music scene.
