Not every rapper needs to drop conscious bars and triple entendre. Sometimes, it’s best to focus on what you’re good at and what your fan base loves. Scumie is doing just that, and I doubt her age group will ever catch up with her.
She’s wrapping up this month with a fire Extended Play titled “African Rockstar,” which features an amazing pool of talent like Lacabra and Blue Pappi from the Qwellers, as well as Karisu and Young Vandon. The 14-minute sonic journey is so well-crafted that it’ll leave you wanting more. “Another Day Another Dollar” is a song I highly recommend. Overall, this is a dope EP.
