Njakes teams up with Jukebox to search for “Gold”.

Foreign Exchange’s third album is the level of authenticity that GOLD brings. It’s rare to come across music that reminds you of the albums you love to play, and this doesn’t even disrespect the homies. That’s how great this single sounds.  After releasing his romantic debut single, “Don’t Look Back,” which has been described as “the perfect soundtrack for you and your summer love” by The Erratic Show’s Sango Velaphi, Njakes dropped his second single, “Gold.” This feel-good anthem features the multi-talented media figure teaming up with Soweto-duo, Jukebox, making it a perfect addition to your summer playlists. The introduction of the song is harmonized by Njakes and Silas Africa. If you pay attention to the song, you will notice that Lesedi took the first verse, while the first chorus is led by Njakes. Silas Africa leads the second chorus, and Njakes takes the second verse. It is beautiful to witness how they connect with each other vocally. Produced by Master Raph, Gold will have you feeling good from your head to your toes, with its exuberant mix of alternative hip-hop & R&B. The mood-boosting anthem finds the trio of artists triumphantly enjoying a good day over a breezily soulful production. GOLD is the second single from Njakes’ upcoming JWA EP that is expected to drop within 2024’s first quarter.
