Maxhosa Africa’s Global Debut Hits SoHo Streets

In a rather chic move, luxury knitwear designer label, MAXHOSA AFRICA, has announced the opening its first global flagship store in the heart of Manhattan. The SoHo district will soon become home to the brand’s New York City debut in February 2024. Positioned alongside fashion heavyweights like Prada, Acne, Céline, and Rick Owens, MAXHOSA AFRICA is set to carve its own stylish niche in this iconic neighbourhood.

Established in 2010, MAXHOSA AFRICA has swiftly risen to become a local design powerhouse, capturing the essence of African luxury by weaving a tapestry of Xhosa culture with fine wool. Under the creative helm of Laduma Ngxokolo, the brand has become synonymous with elegance and cultural celebration. While already making waves in Johannesburg and Cape Town, this international flagship store marks a significant stride in bringing the brand’s unique blend of tradition and opulence to the global stage
