If you google the meaning of symphony it will read something along the lines of ‘an elaborate musical composition for an orchestra’. Now, in the context of rap music, ‘SINPHONY no1’ is a single that gets as close to the definition as any rap song can get. The song is filled to brim with quality. The song’s overall hue is sinister and dark, which perfectly links up with the subject matter of the song. On the track he reflects on the tragic trajectory of a rapper by making references to legends past. As much as I love Huey’s raps, the detail of the song construction is something i need to tip my hat to the magicman for.
