Darkie Fiction make a return with new EP ‘Wam’ [Listen]

Darkie Fiction is straight outta Jozi, reppin’ the freshest vibes in the music game. With Katt Daddy droppin’ the rhymes and Yoza Mnyanda bringin’ those soulful vocals, this duo is a force to be reckoned with. They blend kwaito, afro-funk, neo-soul, and hip-hop into a sound that’s pure fire.

Paying respect to the OGs of South African music, Darkie Fiction draws inspiration from legends like Brenda Fassie, Caiphus Semenya, Letta Mbulu, Steve Kekana, TKZee, and Boom Shaka. They’re keepin’ that old-school spirit alive while puttin’ their modern twist on it.

After a little break, Darkie Fiction is back and better than ever with their EP Wam. It’s got two bangers on it, ‘Ungowam’ and ‘Sunday’ to Sunday,” that’ll have you vibing all day long. But this EP is just a teaser, leaving us hungry for a full-length project like their 2020 drop, Darkie.

So, don’t sleep on this duo. Check out their new single and hit us up on socials to let us know what you think. Darkie Fiction is bringing the heat, and we can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for us next. Stay tuned!
