Kanye West, who had a tumultuous 2022, has made a quiet return to the fashion scene by revealing his Yeezy Season 10 collection at a secret show in Los Angeles, California. Dubbed “YZY FREE,” the show was an extremely low-key affair, with skinhead models wearing skin-tight white T-shirts with black pants being the center of attention.

According to Highsnobiety, the event barely showcased any clothing or fashion designs, and instead focused on the models holding candles and Frank Ocean’s “Self Control” playing in the background. Kanye was not seen at the event, but he was spotted preparing for the show earlier that day with his wife, Bianca Censori, dressed in a retro Umbro Manchester United jacket and black leggings.
This surprise event follows Kanye’s controversial Yeezy Season 9 fashion show in Paris last October, where he sparked backlash for wearing a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt. After being called out by Diddy, Kanye made a series of antisemitic and pro-Hitler comments on social media and in interviews, leading to the dissolution of several lucrative business deals and longstanding creative partnerships with brands like adidas, Gap, Balenciaga, and Def Jam.
