On this drop we have a quick chat with Lebohang Serame who is the founder (with the assistance of Xola Mda), designer and creative director of the street magnificence brand, HAPPYVILLE which is said to have been founded in the year 2017.

Now for those that don’t know who you are could you briefly just introduce yourself and what you do?

My name is Lebohang Serame and I am the founder of HAPPYVILLE.

How do you differentiate HAPPYVILLE from all the other brands that exist in SA?

For me, it was a thing of… I had to stand out and a way for me to stand out was to do what everybody else is not doing

Where or who do you draw your inspirations from?

I get inspiration from a lot of places for my design process, it could be movies, it could be music videos…

If we had to come together the benefits would be… It’s endless, there are endless possibilities. We can achieve so much.

And what goes through your mind when you think of the phrase ‘Beauty Of Blend’?

There’s so much beauty in coming together and creating. The magic that comes out of working together is amazing and that’s the first thing that comes to mind.
