Ason has just dropped his latest offering which is an EP called Leaux Love that expands his sounds to a new area that his fans haven’t heard from him. The whole project comes in with 3 tracks in total with no mentioned features. Leaux Love is said to explore a nighttime vibe while fusing afrobeat and amapiano elements to bring the two into a beautiful euphony.
Its further expressed how this is set for a nighttime setting for the listener as it immediately puts you there with the smooth and subtle production that was chosen under the lyrics. This EP really is a showcasing of Ason’s growth and willingness to explore his sounds and emotions through sonic. Inside the pandemic, he got to sit down and figure exactly what he loves to listen to and found himself more connected to afro-beats and R&B, so this new drop is also a concise display of where his mind/head is at. He found himself listening to the likes of Wizkid & Burnaboy while also tapping in with DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small’s Projects to hone in and sharpen his skill on whats makes a song tick. On the other side, with the R&B, Ason was listening to Drake, PND & The Weeknd. His goal is to make this sound develop more in Africa as we grow and become more marketable in international markets.
