MUZI has just announced he has a new EP called MAMA that is set to be released on all major streaming platforms on Friday, 2 October 2020. This said to be a 6-track project that was produced during the current lockdown in South Africa. Its also been shared that the project is a sonic homage to the artist’s late mother, MaKhoza, who heavily influenced MUZI’s early musical development.
The MAMA cover art was also shared on MUZI’s post and it’s said to be a collaborative effort between photographer, Riccardo Annandale, graphic designers, Luke Crawford, Menzi Ndlovu and MUZI himself and is created to highlight the warm and close-knit relationship that MUZI shared with his mother.
The EP’s first single will be coming our way on the 8th of September.
