It has been almost two years since the release of his first studio album (Thank Da King) TDK, Bonginkosi Mahlangu popularly known as KiD X dropped a brand new single titled ‘Kikilikiki’ on Friday the 6th of March 2020. ‘Kikilikiki’ is a single that is said to embody the KiD X that we met in 2014, after he helped pioneer a sound called “Skhanda” which later took over the streets of South African Hip Hop.
This is a message to the youth about the importance of empowering each other by spreading knowledge and opportunities to those who have no access to such. This song is a wakeup call to bonke abo clever base kasi to say, majents let us help one another instead of chilling and pretending like our peers are not suffering – explained KiD X
On this brand new single, KiD X introduces us to Bonginkosi (himself) a go-getter and hustler who always finds a way to help those around him.
