Hanna, the 21-year-old fast rising rapper, producer and singer/songwriter is making her mark on the music industry. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Hanna was drawn to instruments in school and developed an ear for music at an early age. Influenced by J. Cole, the budding rapper became obsessed with memorizing and reciting complex lyrics. She also sites Mick Jenkins, Kehlani, Eminem and Nasty C as musical influences. In 2017, Hanna moved to Cape Town, South Africa to study Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cape Town. In between studying, she began to post rap videos and covers to her Instagram and Twitter, one of which went viral in 2018 racking up over 120,000 views across platforms. This kick started her social media presence and started to attract the attention of well known artists.  In 2019, Hanna was selected as one of Mr. Eazi’s emPawa100 artists and was also one of the 11 winners chosen for the Red Bull and Tall Racks “Lift As You Rise” campaign. Her singles, ‘Gimme’, ‘Alive’, ‘Peace’,  ‘Wave’ and her latest offerings ‘Nigists’ and ’24/7′ can be found on all digital streaming platforms.The Girl In The Durag, her highly anticipated debut project will be released in 2020.
