Afrobeats DJ Precious Nkadimeng, affectionately known as “Spokenpriestess” has a deep-rooted journey in the entertainment industry spanning over 10 years. Through the years in radio, music, public relations, artist management, writing, and events planning, she has made her mark as a go-to culture observer with much knowledge – particularly in the hip hop community. As of 2018, Spokenpriestess decided to expand herself by fusing her passion for Africa and curating music through DJ’ing. She plays strictly African pop, known to the world as “afrobeats,” specialising mostly in West African popular music. Having grown some healthy cross border connections and recently being an on-air presenter at TransAfrica Radio, her understanding of African pop goes beyond the popular hits by your Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy for example.
