This interesting collab was first teased last month and now some official images of the new Vans and Harry Potter‘s collaborative sneaker line-up have surfaced. The first look at the shoes reveals a quartet silhouettes exclusive to each of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry’s houses. Colors and details from all four houses — Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin — are showcased across different Vans silhouettes which mirrors the distinctive nature of each house. Gryffindor’s Sk8-Hi sports red and gold-hued stripes against a black suede upper, with a matching Jazz Stripe and muted white midsole emphasizing the house’s lion-emblazoned crest, which is patched onto the medial side of each sneaker. Then Ravenclaw’s signature blue informs a remixed Checkerboard Authentic, complete with matching laces, crest-branded tongue tag and touches of bronze on the alternating squares. The Hufflepuff Slip-Ons have an all-black upper is subverted by subtle yellow stripes at the elastic gusset, with “HUFFLEPUFF” verbiage and crest stitched across the forefoot. Finally, Slytherin’s Era receives an appropriately scaley makeover, with faux snakeskin patterns playing across a silver and dark green leather upper, even reworking the shoe’s tongue tag to showcase the house’s snake motif. Clothing and accessories are still on the way…
