SA’s prolific group, Driemanskap return to the pulpit of hip hop with the release of their highly anticipated hard hitting cypher titled #24HoursInGugs. This new cypher finds the group show their superb lyrical prowess as each man go on to lace fiery lines on bars using Drake’s ‘5 AM in Toronto’ beat. #24HoursInGugs also sees the group announce that their long awaited second album Hlala Nam is set to drop in April 2019.
Driemanskap form the vanguard of the new generation of proudly South African Hip Hop artists who understand that Hip Hop, more than any other musical art form, is about addressing important issues and representing where you’re from. They are one of the pioneers of the Spaza movement, representing Cape Town with a rhyme style that combines their mother tongue, isiXhosa, with English and Cape Flats slang.
