The death of Mac Miller really hit the world by surprise, especially his close friend ScHoolboy Q. ScHoolboy spoke of Mac as a brother and although he hasn’t said much since the 26-year old’s death by an apparent overdose, TDE’s Punch took to Twitter to inform the general public that Q was holding up. Now ScHoolboy broke his silence at a recent show informing the crowd that his forthcoming album would be put on hold at the moment in light of his friend’s passing. He began by reminding fans of his policy on dropping a new album every two years and even revealed that he’s completed four albums in the last two years since the arrival of Blank Face. He however assured fans that the album would be coming, just not as soon as they were hoping. “I’ma go back, and I’ma figure out when I’ma put this fucking album out, because y’all are going to get this album. I promise that. I’m just not ready to walk into the radio station and the first thing they ask me is ‘So Mac Miller…’ I’m not ready to deal with those questions. I’m not ready to put nothing out right now. I’m sorry.” he said.
