This month’s SELECT x SESSIONS celebrates some of the finest female music makers and shakers in the industry, with “future ghetto punk” headliner Moonchild Sanelly, the eclectic sounds of deck queen BrownPepperAnn and DJ Misfit’s unique blend of electro, commercial pop and more. This First Thursday pre-party kicks off at the PUMA SELECT courtyard in Braamfontein on Thursday 2 August from 6:30pm sharp-ish, to beat the winter chills.
PE-born Moonchild Sanelly coined her sound as ‘future ghetto punk’ in 2007, a fusion of dance, groove, electronic and pop, and is a true performer with her colourful wigs and edgy dress sense.
Every First Thursday catch SELECT x SESSIONS at the courtyard of the PUMA Store on the corner of De Korte and Melle streets. Expect intimate laidback listening sessions, banging DJ sets, and artist collabs.
