Nike recently held a special preview event in Shanghai as a build-up to this year’s Air Max Day. This exclusive event brought together some of the Air Max line’s biggest collaborators to share their love of Nike’s sneak line. The likes of Nike Air Max senior creative director Dylan Raasch, Sean Wotherspoon of Round Two, atmos creative director Hirofumi Kojima, ALCH‘s Alexandra Hackett, DOE co-founder Himm Woon and veteran shoe collector Horace Leung were there. Additionally, Nike took the opportunity to unveil some of the most anticipated Air Max Day 2018 drops and releases scheduled for later this year. So expected the atmos “Animal Pack,” Vote Forward Air Max 1/97 and Wang Junkai designed Air Max Zero “WJK” and debuting colorways of the Air VaporMax 2.0, Air Max 270, Air Max 180, Air Max 98 and Air Max 93 plus the white and black iterations of the Virgil Abloh x Air VaporMax to drop.
