SZA’s debut album Ctrl just got the nod as 2017s best album by Time Magazine. The album has been R&B success since it dropped because of its raw and emotional records that had every listener caught up in their emotions. She now this new accolade comes courtesy of one of print media’s most respected and prestigious institutions who released their list of the year’s 10 best albums. Now SZA took the crown for the best long-form release of the year, beating the likes of Kendrick and Khalid, commenting that the singer’s work is comprised of “witty songs marked by gorgeously sparse R&B production and ironclad melodies.”
