Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DAMN.’ Takes Album of the Year at the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards

Kendrick Lamar‘s fourth studio DAMN. beat Future’s self-titled album, J. Cole’s 4 Your Eyez Only and JAY-Z’s 4:44 to win Album of the Year at the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards. The platinum-selling album debuted at No.1 on Billboard 200 and sold about 603,000 album-equivalent units in its first week and has also officially spent 25 consecutive weeks in Billboards top 10. Plus with only three months left in the year, its also the most streamed album of the year with 2 million SPS., 200,000 ahead of Drake’s More Life.
