As promised, Riky Rick has just dropped his new ‘Buy It Out’ single today. This drop comes after the news of his new partnership with Sony. Yesterday, in a surprise post on social media earlier this morning, 24 hours away from dropping his highly anticipated song, ‘Buy It Out’, Riky Rick announced the partnership of his label COTTON CLUB RECORDS with Sony Music and Sound African Recordings.

It brings me great joy to announce that I have officially partnered up with Sony Music on my new label, COTTON CLUB RECORDS,” – Riky Rick

Asked on what the vision of COTTON CLUB RECORDS is, Riky Rick said it was about furthering his and other musicians’ musical interests through the label.

COTTON CLUB RECORDS is a label I started that will be creating and putting out music by me and new artists I am working with,” – Riky Rick

I created COTTON CLUB RECORDS with the vision of helping young talented artists break into the industry. My aim is to bridge the gap between the street way of making music and building a brand out of music,”  – Riky Rick

As mentioned early this week, the joint was produced by Gemini Major and its safe to say that the wait was worth it as Riky wastes no time reminding us why he’s ahead of culture on this one.
