In a recent interview with Uproxx, Hughes spoke of the relationship between Dr Dre’s business mindset and his musical endeavors. Now According to the filmmaker, the billion-dollar headphone industry has not stopped Dre from getting in the studio.
“Dre still records. People don’t know this: Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting,” – Hughes
Its actually been reported that Dre has been working with Eminem on his upcoming project, which sounds like it might be well on its way to completion real soon.
“Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album,” – Hughes
Eminem has not shared a title or release date for what would be his ninth studio album yet though and last October, the Detroit rapper released a hookless 8-minute track called ‘Campaign Speech’ remember?
