So Drake’s highly anticipated More Life project has been the topic of hip hop conversations since he referred to it as a playlist rather than an album. Now in an interview with Billboard, producer and Drake collaborator Nineteen85 spoke about the rapper’s decision to call More Life a playlist. Nineteen85 reportedly said that the playlist distinction comes from Drake’s intent to have multiple artists contributing to the project.
“More Life is interesting because this is Drake right on the peak of his biggest project yet with Views, doing his biggest tour and still having so many good ideas that he just wants to put out without making it a big ordeal,” – Nineteen85
“That’s why he’s trying to call it a playlist because he has a bunch of people in a space, hanging out…. He’s so aware of what everybody else is doing musically that he likes to introduce new music and new artists to the rest of the world.” – Nineteen85
There is no release date for More Life at this time, but knowing Drake, this could be another surprise drop.
